Prep Time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Makes: 2 dozen

1lb 1.5oz Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix

2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/3 Cup butter or margarine softened

1 Egg

1 Tube black decorating icing

12 oz Container of Betty Crocker fluffy white frosting

Coarse white decorating sugar

Assorted candies

1. Heat oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit. In a medium bowl, stir cookie mix, flour, butter, and egg until a soft dough forms.

2. On lightly floured surface, roll dough to about 1/8″ thick. With star-shaped cookie cutter, cut out stars.

3. Place them 1″ apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 7-9 minutes or until edges are lightly golden brown.

4. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets to a cooling rack. Cool completely ~ 15 minutes.

5. Frost and decorate 1 cookie at a time. Pipe black icing on top point of star for a hat. Then frost the rest of the star with the white icing. Sprinkle with coarse sugar. Then use candies to make buttons and a snowman face.
